simatic-op is on a write-protected medium

hello everyone.
Please help.
I have a program for the machine written on protool and Strp7, When I want to open it to add changes to it, it gives me the error
open object 734:26 OM TD/OP: simatic-op is on a write-protected medium.
please tell me, How can I overcome this problem?

Pretty sure it's telling you that the memory cards in each device have their respective write-protection switches turned on.  Just turn them off, then when done, turn them back on.

Another thing that it might be, is the files are read-only.  Find the Step 7 project folder which is in C:\Program Files\Siemens\Step7\s7proj\ and right-click on it an click Properties... uncheck the Read-Only checkbox, and if it asks, apply the changes to all files and folders.
