Posted 28 Nov 2019 I have omron plc CJ2M CPU15 and I have input module CJ1W-MD261 (32 inputs, 32 outputs) and I was wondering can I MD261 module for hsc inputs? When I open CX programmer and go to settings and go to "IO Module" I see that I can include HSC input and I assigned it to Input 08 and what is that input? Is that input 0.08 on MD261 because my plc has no integrated inputs or outputs (image included at the bottom). Any help is wellcome
Posted 29 Nov 2019 That module will not work for high speed counter inputs. You need a pulse I/O module such as the CJ2M-MD211 for high speed counters.

Posted 6 Dec 2019 Speed is 600 rotations / minute. How many pulses per rotation?

Posted 13 Dec 2019 Quote What is cheapest Omron plc with integrated HSC input? Based on your pulse speed of 80 Hz, I would look at a CP1L series. Or, if you want to use the CJ2M, add a CJ2M-MD21x. gtsuport
