2098-DSD-HV150-SE behaving as a 2098-DSD-HV150

Good afternoon,

I have connected a 2098-DSD-HV150-SE and it shows the numerical display constantly cycling like in this video:

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lk8Oexm_hzc (min 1:15)

I was expecting the PLC to end up showing a number 4 like the other units do when they are ready but this never happens.

I was looking in the manual and I found the extract I have attached.

All the information makes me think that my 2098-DSD-HV150-SE is behaving like a 2098-DSD-HV150 but I have no idea why.

The unit has 2098-DSD-HV150-SE in the label and also in the front its the SERCOS Interface so there is no doubt this is a 2098-DSD-HV150-SE.

Someone had a similar experience or knows why this is happening?

Thank you for your help.

Kind regards.

If you go online with Ultraware, you can turn the Sercos function back on, someone may have turned it off to make the drive a indexing drive.

Note you need to be online to do this, I do not have access at the moment but if I remember correctly it is at the top left hand of the menu tree when online.

Someone knows where to find the steps to set the Sercos function back on in Ultraware?

Thanks.

I think I have found it in the Ultraware manual. I will try.

That's what I was talking about.
