Compactlogix,SLC and Prosoft

HI all,

i just migrate from SLC to Compactlogix, SLC I/O rack become Remote I/O because i only change the controller 1769-L30ER, the problem is in the SLC rack there are prosoft 3150-MCM module, how do i configure and mapping this MCM in the RSlogix5000 because previously its configure and mapping in RSlogix500 which is different..?Secondly if add AOI MCM in Rslogix5000, can 3150-MCM read the mapping since it is differently setup?

any idea to solve this?

There is a migration manual for converting the SLC Rack into a remote IO (via 1734-AENT).  In that document it specifically tells you which modules in the SLC world can be used and those that can not be used.

YOu would probably need to add and program the Compactlogix version of the Prosoft module to it's local rack.

Even if you can get the ProSoft module to work in the SLC rack, it would probably be simpler and easier to make it a local Compact I/O module. Probably simpler enough to justify the cost of replacing it.
