Mitsi Q RS232 & Keyence CV2100 Vision

Hi, I have already posted this in Keyence Forum, but it may as well be here also. Does anyone have any experience using the PLC link function in the Keyence CV2100 Vision system. I need to connect to a Mitsi QJ71C24-R2 RS232 module. Any problems? Any hints? Any comments? Thanks for any help available. Mike B

I didn't use same setup but here are few tips: - if i remember correctly CV doesn't sent CRLF at the end (it's only on of the two) - try to figure out communicaton using PC before you diving into PLC programming. ths is to help you check cable, port settings, message format, command length etc. - get the emanual for C24 card. you will be using ASCII messages so you need to know how to setup C24 to work with ASCII. - make sure to add functions to check CV mode, current program, current window etc.
