Personnel who knew password no longer available. OEM says they cannot help, they didn't keep records. Know not supposed to discuss "bypassing" passwords on this forum. Posted 21 Nov 2018 (edited) I assume you use Concept software and someone used the PLC login password protection. You can delete whole info from PLC or send the PLC to schneider for remowing pass . Edited 21 Nov 2018 by Quant
Posted 21 Nov 2018 Ask for password when trying to connect to PLC.
Posted 21 Nov 2018 Not practice to send PLC to Schneider. It is running a 500 KW generator in remote location in British Columbia.
Posted 28 Nov 2018 Ask the OEM to send you a copy of the program so you can erase the PLC and download it again. That's about your only option at this point. If they can't provide the password and they can't provide the original project, your more or less have to start over and have an integrator write a new program. And hopefully in a more modern PLC. There is no magic back door to let you bypass the intellectual property protection.
