Difference between UINT and WORD in Sysmac Studio

Does anyone know the difference between UINT and WORD in Sysmac Studio and when I should choose to use each of them.

UINT is an unsigned integer, it's meant to be read as a numeric value 0-65,535.

WORD is a 16-bit value, typically used in HEXADECIMAL.
