Delta COMMGR - USB Ethernet Adapter

4 posts in this topic

I'm using a USB to Ethernet adapter on my PC, however the adapter does not show up in the list of Ethernet cards in COMMGR.

Does anyone have experience using USB to Ethernet adapters for Ethernet communication with Delta PLC's?

Hardware config on my PC shows the USB adapter as a network card, DCIsoft will successfully find the connected PLC (DVP60ES2-E)

First set IP Address for your USB to Etherent Adapter and ping to PLC that have response or not.

Then check in your Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network Connections and check that USB to Ethernet connection are enable.

Wonderful, thanks for your help Wasan!  I disabled the wireless card and set-up the IP on the USB-Ethernet adapter. Thankyou.

This topic is old, but i am having the same problem, with TAP interfaces. I use openvpn to connect to CLPs and HMIs remotelly. But on my new computer, it show only the fisical interface that's connected. And not show the tap interfaces, that are used by the vpn to realize the connection.
