M251 COMMUNICATE TO A BARCODE READER

Hello,

 

I need to communicate a Datalogic Qw2120 ( with a USB connector  )  to a Modicon M251, it has a RJ45 Serial, i don´t know where to start , can anyone please give me a hand ? I would appreciate it very much.

You will have to read up on serial communication (ascii). Check the somachine pdf manuals for serial communication. I have done this successfully a few years back. Will find program and post screenshots
