Rslogix 5000 add-on instruction

Hi, all 

can anyone tell me where i can see the logic for add-on instruction?

it says "structured text", i cant find where it is.

I have a couple structured text AOI's and just double click on Logic and my logic opens with no issues.

Your "Logic" icon in the project tree is grayed out, so my first guess is that you don't have support for structured text licensed on your PC. If you just have the "standard" version of the Logix software, the language support for languages other than ladder is an extra (and expensive, grrr) license.

It may also be password protected. I haven't done enough with that to be familiar with how locked routines look.

I used to lock AOI's but I removed all of the protections years ago so I don't remember what that looks like. I'd bet that it's a license issue if it's a structured text based AOI
