Posted 18 Jan 2018 Hi, I have recently modified a program and hardware and I'm now getting error 3300. I have looked at the fixes on this forum and none have worked so far. The hardware config was 2 I/P cards, 2 O/P cards and a Q64AD card, there is now only 1 I/P card in slot 0 and 1 O/P card in slot 2, the rest have been replaced with blanks. I have uploaded the new parameter and program but I'm still getting error 3300. I've tried clearing memory ( not formatted yet as not sure what would happen). Any thoughts? Posted 19 Jan 2018 You have to format the memory as there is still a setting inside (sp.funct) for the Q64AD. 1 person likes this
Posted 19 Jan 2018 Thanks Gambit. I'll give that a try. Is there any way of finding out where that setting is and changing without formatting for future reference?
Posted 19 Jan 2018 (edited) I don't think so. This is the only reason you will need to do a format. The PLC memory works just like files on a hard drive. It's there so it you won't overwrite it by writing other files. So you need to remove the file Edited 19 Jan 2018 by Gambit
Posted 19 Jan 2018 Thanks Gambit - that information is now logged and stored in the grey matter.
