Medoc Keystrokes

5 posts in this topic

Hi

I have an old F1 PLC I need to reprogram. I am using MEDOC to do this.

Can anybody remember the keystrokes I need to add a number to a data register. i.e. [ADD D0 K1 D0]

I got as far as pressing '8' but everything I then type gives me the message invalid instruction.

Any help gratefully received.

The problem in this case is that the F1 is very old and doesn;t support an instruction like ADD.

You would need an FX

I think there was a special instruction that could do math.  The manuals should be here in the Downloads section from years ago.

Hi PLC man,

If I remember right: Wasn't it [F8] instead of [8] to get to the special function section?

Best regards,

Theo V.

The Medoc keystrokes are the same for any supported PLC.

F7- Edit rung/Accept edit, 1- N.O. contact, 2-N.C. contact, 7-coil, etc.

The F1/F2 syntax, however, is totally different, and all the instructions and their arguments are F coils.
