Wipe memory from PLC

How does one remove the memory from a cj1m or a cqmi? I do not want to see any of the previous programmers code. I only want to start over.

When online select PLC from upper menu bar. Select "Clear All Memory Areas"

You can also just make your own program and write it to the PLC.  You don't need to upload the old code or erase it, sending a new program to the CPU will overwrite it.

Yes that works, but in my opinion much cleaner to have all memory areas cleared when starting a new project.
