ALLEN BRADLEY PLC WITH REDLION PROTOCOL CONVERTER

Dear Fellows,

I have upcoming project my vendor is giving us a skid in which PLC and HMI And a redlion converter Having IP's 10.10.1.XXX however where I execute this project having network 192.168.1.XXX should i need to change the IP's Of whole system from 10.10.1.XXX to 192.168.1.XXX .

HELP NEEDED !!

You have a few options. 

1) Make all you I.P. Addresses the same. 10.10.1.xxx or 192.168.1.xxx

2) Add a managed switch. We use the Allen Bradley 9300-ENA for a 1:1 mapping. Then map the 192.168.1.xxx to the 10.10.1.xxx network

If you have an IT group that is responsible for your facility network I would get them involved. They can give you a pool of addresses for the control network that are excluded from the DHCP pool. I'm assuming that your network is behind a router and properly secured from intruders.
