Can anyone do a compare to Allen Bradley Rslogix slc 500 to direct soft 5 regarding (v memory, K,& C) meanings. I have programed using Allen Bradley and i can't yet grasp the v- memory location in automation direct. Can anyone give me an ideal of what v memory represents by comparing it to Allen Bradley slc 500?  PLEASE

V memory is similar to the Integer (ex. N7) files,  K implies a Constant, such as directly entering a timer Preset value. AD timers also allow the Preset to automatically reference a V memory location, such as one assigned to an HMI number entry function.   C is control relay, or Bit (B3) as used in AB.
