Password Problem: Omron PLC

Hello I have an Omron CP1H PLC at school. I am using it for a project. Unfortunately the previous user put a password on the PLC and now I cannot access it. He cannot remember the password he used . Is there any way to clear the password from the machine? Thanks

You should be able to clear all PLC memory and start over.

That's what I would like to do but don't know the procedure to clear the memory

Create a new project and set PLC Model and Type to match your PLC model.

Go online and place plc in program mode.

In the pulldown under PLC you will see a tab "Clear All Memory Areas"
