I am working on Q series PLC Q03UDV CPU and having serial card QJ71C24N-R2.

I want to communicate it with Printer on serial port but before that,I need to see this data on hyper terminal.s not working can anybody help me through this.

I have written program from PDF and tried but it's not working.

I am using straight RS232 cable,is there any other requirement for cable or any other configuration?

You have Error H7F42 (32578)

Looks like your cable is the issue.

You could try a cable in which the interlocking signals are connected locally and only the send receive and ground are connected to the other side

6-4-1

7-8

If I read your post correctly. You are using s straight cable. But you have connected the QJ71C24 to your computer.

This should be a cross cable

2- 3
3-2
5-5 + hardware handshake

@dmldb: What does this have to do with QJ71C24N? Do you need to reset the FX3U-32M CPU or other? Also, what do you mean by "without software"? You can unplug the CPU from the power, and plug it in again if that's what you're asking...

Thank you. We need to reset without using program. You mean if we remove power from the CUP ,will it be reset?

No problem. What do you mean when you say reset? To explain:

If you remove and reapply power to the CPU (Power supply), it will reset all sequences (probably). However, it will NOT clear the program memory.

What is it that you want to achieve when you say "Reset" the CPU?
