LCPU RTC

4 posts in this topic

Hello,

I am using a L02CPU and I wrote the time to the RTC on the PLC but I am confused as to where that clock is stored and how to reference it. I am trying to reset cycle counters at shift changes by comparing the current time of the RTC to data I have stored in a register. I will attach a pic of what I did.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

Not exactly sure what you need, but I'll just throw out some a suggestion: Use DATERD to read back the current datetime and compare accordingly?

If this is not what you need, could you maybe try to explain what you need to accomplish, and "how you are thinking about doing it"?

Yes, that is what I was looking for. I was thinking about it completely wrong. This makes total sense. Thank you.
