Posted 18 Oct 2016 (edited) I have one PLC (transistor output) on panel with her 24V power supply. I have another PLC on panel with her 24V power supply. The distance between is 40 foot. I want send a output signal to one plc to another (with shielded cable). When I try I have only 9 Volts on the input. Why? How send and receive signal whiout communication? The 0V reference can be shared between power supply’s ? Thank you Edited 18 Oct 2016 by jblplc ajout
Posted 18 Oct 2016 Hello, Yes,the two plcs should have same tension reference Or you will need a relay interface between them. 1 person likes this
