program Ezmarquee and siemens 1500

I am trying to set up an EZmarqee with a Siemens ET200sp CPU, CM profibus and TIA v13.

Using the DPWR communication block, it has an error of 8090.

The hardware identifier is correct. I am trying to send simple integers for now,

But would like to send ascii strings to display machine status.

Is there a better way of doing this? Profinet? S7-300? Examples would be great!
