communication plc to hmi

hi

i have to access program through hmi GOT 2000,The manufacturer has not provided any ip no. for the hmi ,Can i access the plc through my pc ip with this am using the GX works2 , the plc is Fx series.Hope any one can help with that

So f I understand you correctly you your PC is connected to the GOT via Ethernet en the GOT is connected serial with the FX?
This is possible with GX Works 2. However you will need the IP adress from the HMI.

By default the port number of the HMI is 5014 but this also could have been changed. Can't you read out the HMI project via USB first?

I  saw the manufacturer use Gx developer ther he has option to directly connect to hmi without any ip but gx works2 require ip address maybe. i could but i dont have gt designer for 2000 .

He was probably using the USB port of the HMI not the ethernet port
