Hi All,

I am facing an issue in CJ1M PLC. I am doing some changes in programming and these are transferred successfully to PLC and PLC response according to changes. When we recycle the power of PLC all changes get deleted and plc comes to originally saved program.

All other data like set values are not going to defaults.

Any suggestions please

It may be configured to load a program from the Compact Flash card. Is there a card in the slot?

Then your original program is being loaded from the CF card. I believe you can just remove the card then the program will be loaded from the battery backed up memory upon power up. In this case your changes should take affect and remain after a power cycle.

Turn off switch 7 on the CPU if you do not want the program to load from the CF card.

There never was a good description of the memory card functions for the CJ1, but there is a good description in section 8 of the CJ2 manual (W472). The CJ1 & CJ2 memory cards operate the same.

Switch 7 is for CPU backup.

Turn off switch 2 on the CPU if you do not want the program to load from the CF card.
