You did not mention what model of cam positioner that you have.  If you have 3F88L-160 or 162, those units use Compoway/F protocol for communications.  See attached:

You will need to use the PMCR instruction.  Please read the attached files and then ask questions.  You should be able to figure it out.

for example
how can i write this if i want to sent then CAM1 Data ON/OFF angle   CAM1 100 ON, 200 OFF...
