Mitsubishi QJ71E71-100 C013 error

10 posts in this topic

Is anyone familiar with C013 errors on Mitsubishi QJ71E71-100 Ethernet module?

C013

The port number used in a

connection already opened is set

in UDP/IP open processing.

Review and correct the port number of

the Ethernet module.

Thanks!

Gambit, can this cause the equipment to perform phantom operations? Thanks!

Luke S, What should I do in the Ethernet tab? Thanks!

You can see if any ports are already opened there which may be causing conflicts.

It just can't connect that should not cause any phantom operations.

What exactly are you experiencing??

Luke S: Thanks!

Gambit: The machine will randomly move to the cleaning position with no item in there to clean. Once this happens we have to manually move everything back to the starting position and sometimes we have to cycle power then reinitiate and home the machine. No errors or alarms at the display. Only the C013 error when I checked the PLC.

How does it normally get it's cleaning command/location ?

Have you checked what happens when you unplug the ethernet cable ?

Gambit: The cleaning command is accomplished once the cassette has moved to the cleaning position and the optical sensor is satisfied. Then the cleaning operation is run from the program, which has been loaded to the PLC and is based on time frames. When we try to duplicate the problem everything operates as it should and no defects are noted anywhere other than the C013 error on the Ethernet module.

Why unplug the Ethernet cable? We'd loose communication. Is that what you think would be worth verifying?

Thanks!

Well If it has something to do with communication failures than unplugging the cable should produce the same behaviour.
