Good morning! sorry for my English! The programmable terminal is on the screen indicating the following '' Connecting to Host '' this is connected with an RS-232C cable to a SYSMAC C200HG CPU43, what are the possible causes of this failure? thanks for your answers and help!

Broken cable, damaged HMI, Damaged PLC, someone changed the port settings in either the PLC or the HMI or someone changed a dip switch.  Did anyone download any changes recently or change any switches on the PLC?  That is where I would start.

thanks for answering! The communication cable already reviewed and appear to be fine! There have been no changes in the configuration of the PLC and the terminal.
It is possible that the battery run out there lost NT620C this program that allows you to communicate with the PLC?

Check to see if you can communicate to the PLC port that the NT620C is using.

if it refers to the cable (RS-232C) that connects to both! This was verified and common connector pins are OK, ie the cable is good!

We´ve checked the connections between the touch panel and PLC and the cable and connectors are ok. The "comm" light on the PLC is flashing when the machine is turned on (does this tell you something?)

Regarding the message displayed "Connecting to host", perhaps you should know that the battery drained while the machine was off (weekend). According to the manual, it must be replaced within 5 minutes "to protect the contents of the memory". As this didn´t happen, could this be the cause of the message displayed?

Why is this topic in the NJ / Sysmac Studio section, by the way?  This is old product.
