Safety Tags Studio 5000

Quick question on safety in studio 5000. Can I create "Global" tags in the safety program and can I use "Global" tags from the main program in the safety program?

Im using an L71s with a logix 5571.

No, you have to create a link between safety tags and non-safety tags by using the "Safety Tag Mapping" feature in the Tools pull down menu.
