controlling linear actuators by inclinometer

2 posts in this topic

Hi.

I am doing a school project where I have a floor that is uneven. I will try to get a platform leveled by using 4 linear actuators and control them by using an inclinometer like the one on the link http://www.te.com/usa-en/product-CAT-TSI0012.html#mdp-tabs-content

I only have one problem. I have never been programming analogue signals before :-1. Is there anyone who can help me to start on this one. I know that when I use voltage or currency as signal i need to convert them. And the range from 0 to 27648.

Thanks to everyone who could help me on this :-)

Here is an example of unscaling the output of an oven for a 4-20mA. It's the same thing to scale the inputs but using scale instead of unscale.

But I think you can skip all that and just use 2 compact PIDs as shown in this video.

I'm guessing you are using 2 actuators for X and 2 for Y and the X2=100-X1 or something?
