Fault reset + Close screen

Hi again guys,

How can I combine the fault reset momentary bit and close screen in one button?

Hi. Do you mean the bit you use to reset the user alarm display on a GOT HMI?

You should be able to assign multiple functions to a push button. In the create push button dialogue on the left you can make a list of them. Function 1 would be set the alarm reset bit and function 2 would be "move to base screen x."

You might need to write a handshake sequence with the HMI alarm reset bit because it doesn't always respond if the button was pressed very quickly.

Like Luke said above, you can assign multiple functions to a single button. See attached. But this dialog box only comes up if you select Object>Switch>Switch.  Selecting Bit switch or the other options will bring up a more limited dialog box. 

 

 If the alarm screen is a popup, you can set the window register to 0
