How to transfer a Factorytalk View Studio project?

Hi, guys, how’s going?

 

There is a Factorytalk View Studio project “AAA” in my old computer. We want to transfer it to the laptop.

 

But there are “AAA” file in HMI projects and “AAA” file in Runtime over the computer. So how can we transfer it properly? Then we can open, configure, download… it to the Panelview Plus with new laptop.

On the "old computer" use the "Application Manager" under "Tools" use 'Backup Application"

This will create a .APA file which packs together all of the application nicely into one file. Then just copy that file to the new computer.

On that computer run the "Application Manager" and use "Restore Application"
