Loading Ver 6 .mer file into Factory Talk Studio

I am trying to load a Ver 6 .mer file foe a Panel View 1000 into Factory Talk View Studio. When I try to use the Application manager I get the error that it was made on a 32 bit machine and need to use the Legacy Tag program on a 32 bit machine. We do not have any 32 bit machines. Does anyone have a work around?

I don't know if it is possible, but what if you install a virtual machine and then install 32 bits?
