It's been ages since I even touched MelDDE (and I didn't touch it much), but to shoot back again from the hip:

1. Computer OS (also 32bit/64bit)?
2. PLC type/version?
3. MelDDE version?

OK, I can't say that I remember much from MelDDE so I'm not sure. But another question: How is the communication done (serial/other)? And also: Could you take some screenshots from the communication setup?

No its not the same PLC... But i will change the setting on the E71 asap to see if the error will disappear.

Just curious what the error message means....

NAK means that the PLC actively refuses the request sent to it. In other words, you have a successful connection to it via TCP, however for some reason the PLC will not accept the incoming request.
