How do you program expansion i/o (FX2n-EX) in GX developer?

Hi FranzPLC,

Module FX2N-EX of digital inputs and added to the main unit to the controller. No need to be defined in GX developer.Suffice program is compiled and loaded into the controller.

As an additional remark on the reply of Kraykov:

Remember that the input numbers are the next octal numbers. Example: If your FX2N base unit ends with X27 your expansion starts with X30---X37 and so on if you have a 8 input extentionblock. For output extension EY it is the same.

As Kraykov stated, you don't need to configure the expansion module. It is just there if you connect the cable to the base module of the FX2N. (switch power to the base unit off is recommended)

Theo simply says you should remove power from the P.LC before you connect the cable.
