Hi.

 

I was cleaning the other day and found a MC402-UK.

Now I want to test if it works but what do I need?

I got a PLC and and software.

It's more from the MC402-UK and out.

Can I use a multimeter or make some small circuit

Or do I need all the things to run  a simple test?

Never heard of an MC402-UK.

I just uploaded the manual to the downloads section.

This unit is programmable. You'll need the cable to connect directly to the unit. The MC402-UK is referenced in this manual. It has limitations compared to the MC402-E and they are described in this manual.

To program the unit you'll need Trio Motion, Motion Perfect software.

Thanks for your replay.

But can I test anything without the motor-driver?

 

Do the software make at total test?

It was more things like that I was thinking of.

Can I pre-test it in any way?

I have been reading parts of the manual.

But it was if someone had been working with one and knew how to test it without a motor and a driver.

There are a lot of items to test on this unit. Is your PLC compatible? If I remember correctly, the Trio software will allow you to view I/O on both analog and digital signals. If you are not familiar with programming / setup of Omron PLCs then it may be a bit of project to get you going.
