Posted 17 Feb 2016 System: FH-1050-20 vision controller mapped into the EtherCAT network of an NJ controller, plus an NA HMI. Can the vision output be made to display on the HMI?
Posted 17 Feb 2016 Nope. Any data sent to the NJ can be mapped to variables and shown on the HMI, but the image data cannot.
Posted 17 Feb 2016 I thought as much! Worth asking the question though.
Posted 17 Feb 2016 Normally FH is accompanied with a display screen, so image display on HMI will be unnecessary... Also Omron has launched new Touch Panel special for the FH series
Posted 17 Feb 2016 (edited) Yes, I have been made aware of the FH touch screen, and I think that is the route we will likely follow. Our customer has asked us if we can display everything on one screen - i.e. the NA HMI - but it looks like the answer is no. Posted 19 May 2016 Funny - at a German fair I saw the NA showing the FH video on the Omron stand.
