FtView ME - PLC Shortcut change in the application

Hi all,

I would like to use the my FTView ME apllication pointing on differents PLC (as i have 10 exact same machines on the same network).

I would like all the tag of my application called like this {[#1]xxxx} with #1 being able to be changed by pushing some button on the HMI and #1 will be the name of one of the 10 shortcut that i defined in my communication setup.

Do you think that could work ? Using parameters could work ? Anybody tried that before ?

You cannot use indirect addressing in FTVME.  There are other methods though.  You can use the index of a number to push/pull data on the Plc (I.e. The Plcs does all the work by evaluating the index number and pushing/pulling data if a specific index is selected). You could also use expressions, but that would be a huge pain.  You might be able to create a parameter file also.

Yes you can, create your push button plus animation in global object, then assign number to each parameter. after creating it import that object to the project screen and you can now do what you which to do.
