ML1100 Base Analog Input Scaling

2 posts in this topic

The ML1100 has a base analog input, for 4-20 mA what is the correct scaling for the raw data, and what value resistor should be used? I have 203 -1023, with a 500 ohm precision resistor to get 1-5 volts.

500 ohms will give you 2 to 10 volts with a 4 to 20ma signal. 250 ohms will give you 1 to 5 volts with a 4 to 20 ma signal. 0 volts = 0 raw data 1 volt = 102 raw data 2 volts = 205 raw data 5 volts = 512 raw data 10 volts = 1023 raw data
