Posted 8 Jul 2015 In my present project, I have to interface an energy meter that has its kWh count in 64 bit Double format. Now that Vijeo citect hasn't a facility to create tags of the "double' type I am looking for a work-around to this problem. Posted 9 Sep 2015 If it's a MODBUS format look at it with a Modbus master simulator. A lot of the time, depending on the PLC maker, it can be seen as a long, double, or just an Integer. Again some tinkering should help. A lot of the time I have a double that is seen as a Float in the HMI. Hope this helps some... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted 2 Oct 2015 Ni Hao a062549 Thanks a million. What I now understand is that Schneider has a small application created in C/VB that runs in the ibackground. However, in my case I was able to solve the problem by changing the firmware of the meter so that another address retained the value as 32 bit real.
