PLC Version Upgrade

I am installing a new device that is really easy to set up with an add on profile (AOP). However, the PLC I am using is only a version 13.44, and I need it to be at least version 15 to use the AOP. Is there a way I can upgrade the PLC to a newer version so I can use the AOP?

It depends on the controller model. The old 1756-L1 controllers, for example, could only be upgraded to Version 13. 1756-L55 controllers went up to Version 16, and 1756-L6x controllers to Version 20. If your new device can be configured with an ordinary Generic Module object, I'd say stick with that.
