power flex 700

normal operation of this drive the motor stops at end of each cycle but if E-Stop is pushed it coast to stop need to stop now thru res. bank. any sug. thanks

The stop mode (Ramp, Coast, etc) on a Powerflex 700 is controlled by parameters 155 and 156. See manual pg. 39: http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/um/20b-um002_-en-p.pdf Hope this helps.

You may also may need to adjust parameter 153 (regen power limit) as the default value (-50) is for the internal resistor, when using an external resistor this value can be raised to -800. Also parameters 161, 162, 163 may need to be set. Alan Edited by alan_505

What they are doing is using the enable with the e-Stop so that will not allow it to stop Thanks for the replys Edited by firelient

The Human Interface Module (HIM) allows you to access the drive parameters individually and also provides a bulk upload/download feature called "HIM Copycat". Use that keyword in your searches of the User Manual and the RA Knowledgebase and you should find a good description of how that feature works.
