1747-KE & E700 HMI

Hi everyone, just joined up today and this seems quite a good forum. Anyway, that the pleasantries out of the the way. The problem i've got is that i'm using a SLC 5/02 with a 1747-KE comms module and am trying to communicate with a Mitsubishi/Beijers E700 HMI using the RS232 ports. There seems to be some sort of communication as the DF1 lamp flickers on the KE module and the E700 starts. As soon as i press a soft key the E700 comes up with comms error. I'm using a straight pin to pin serial cable as the pinouts seem to be crossed over already. Anyone got any ideas? Edited 18 Oct 2004 by jules
