Posted 6 Oct 2004 (edited) I have just increased the size of the program and the amount of data I am sending via a QJ71C24N by a sizeable amount. My Q02 CPU now has an error code 4101. The error information points to my G.OUPUT instruction. Is there a limit on the amount of data you can send in one go? I am trying to send 372 data registers after they have been converted to ASCII and hence the total number is 1116. Does anybody know the reason for the error and if it is message size, is there an easy way to solve it? Edited 6 Oct 2004 by antht
Posted 6 Oct 2004 Click on Help, PLC Error, Q ..., 4101 and you will see
Posted 7 Oct 2004 Thanks for that. I had seen that message. I think there must be a limit on the amount of data that can be sent by the G.OUTPUT instruction. I have split the program down so that it sends three messages one after the other and that works fine.
