Hi does any body know if it is possible to force a local variable in TIA Portal using a S1200 PLC. I can force real outputs no problem but I can not force local memory tags in my function block. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks DrewW Edited 18 Dec 2013 by DrewW

you can't do that, force vat is only for physical io. S7 classic vat have more feature than S7 portal, maybe in the future, they will improve this. You can use normal vat and modify but this is not a real force, your program will still be able to modify variable status.
