Pnelview Screen Changing

I am working on a project where I would like to have the PLC switch the Panelview screen under the correct conditions. I am using a SLC 5/04 and a PV1000. My second question… Is it possible to password a screen and if so, how? Thank You, Cale

The PanelBuilder s/w and the PV1000 firmware were updated about 2 years ago to support password protection of screens. Prior to that, you had to devise your own scheme, which was a pain. To control screen selection from the SLC, define an integer tag and assign it to the 'Control tag' in the PanelBuilder terminal setup. Remember to clear the tag to zero to re-enable operator control.
