PC To TP170B Download Cable

Hello, I am trying to source a connecting lead to connect the rs 232 port on my Laptop to the rs 232 port on a TP170B HMI Screen. I believe the cable is 6ES7 901-IBF00-0XA0 Can anybody please confirm this and does any one know if it is a straight 1 to 1 pin formation. If so I could make my own up. Its for transferring data. Hi Peter In the past I have used a serial laplink cable for transferring data , this is not a 1-2-1 cable as it has crossovers the pinouts are as follows plug 1 plug 2 2 3 3 2 4 6 5 5 6 4 7 8 8 7

Many Thanks malc. I found a PDF File for the Siemens cable which of course tallies with your diagram and I made up a lead and connected ok. Regards Peter
