Configuring CJ1M + ETN21 for Modbus TCP

Hello, I am writing a code to talk to a CJ1M + ETN21 package from a PC using Modbus. I have done the same thing with FINS previously. Question: does it require any configuration to set the CJ1M as a Modbus Slave / Server? How can that be done? Thank you in advance.

You have to use socket services and build your own code. This can be done using Function Blocks. Here is an example from the Downloads section: http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=524 FINS is much easier. If there is any way that you can use the FINS code that you have used before, I would recommend that. It requires no PLC code to do so (whereas Modbus TCP does).
