Micrologix 1500 Error 187h

4 posts in this topic

Hello All, I went to a customers site today to take a look at a MicroLogix 1500 that has been in service for a few months and has been an issue since day one (news to me). Anyhow, we have dozens of these units out in the field. I performed a upload on the processor and saw the error 187h: i/o configuration mismatch, check module 1. The expansion i/o configuration in the user program did not match the actual configuration, or specified a module that was not found.... We have several of these out in the field. I verified that the hardware matched the software (i.e. opened the 1769-IF8 card to verify). Any suggestions? Thank you. image.bmp

Check Knowledgebase 499749. You may have a unit in the recalled date code range. Edited by b_carlton

I had a similar issue with a 1500 as well. I had to change out the unit because it wouldn't communicate with no other I/Os period. Edited by dmeherg
