Hi, I'm trying to connect a TSX P573634 using serial Uni-Telway link. It's a brand new PLC and I am using Unity Pro XL. Does anybody know how to address this PLC? I have connected COM1 to the TER connection. I only have on rack, shown in image 0.

Hi, You must choose "SYS" that means "system" as the adress for an Unitelway connection on the TER socket. JC

Thank you for your reply but it still doesn't work. The ERR diod is flashing, which i believe indicates the error "PLC not configured (application absent, not valid or incompatible)."

Check that you have no other software running which ties up your comms port, if a background program is running like RSLinx it is constantly polling the comms port for connected devices which makes it unavailable for other programs, you will then get errors like no comms port or device unavailable or configured incorrectly.
