I have been sent a copy of a GX IEC Developer application. It contains an AND block on a FBD with one input negated (a small filled-in circle appears at the end of the lower input to the AND). However much I try I can't find out how to negate an input in this manner short of using a NOT function block. :*-( Can anbody put me out of my misery and tell me how this is done? Page 6-14 in the GX-IEC Developer Beginner's Manual: Double click on an input contact, output coil, or the connection point of a variable in a function block to display the Signal Configuration dialog box. Select the appropriate options, then confirm with OK.

Thank you so much - it works brilliantly. I tried both left and right clicking before but not double-clicking. And the manuals contain so much that its tricky to find things. Pity there isn't a toolbar icon. Does anyone know of a tutorial in plain English for novices? Regards, David
