Servo Driver Alarm..

2 posts in this topic

I've a mitsubishi servo driver Melservo MR-SA52, and it's connected to a AD71 positioning Unit. But when i on the driver, i got a alarm code AL55, which i found that it's a Emergency Alarm.. Can anyone help me to explain that why i received this alarm occasionally.(Because for sometimes when i on the driver, it appears to be alarm free!) Thanks...

Is this only axis? Is the error apearing on the amplifier or motion controller? Is the affected unit exposed to vibrations, dirt, temperature swings, water condensation etc.? Is the power clean? When does error happen, only on powerup or only durring running or both? Did you find a way to produce error? What are corrective actions suggested by manual? Is the motor installed on moving part (cables flexing during operation)? You could have bad cable that occasionally shorts or opens. What are the manuals you have and are they proper ones for the products you have. Similar units might have different meaning for displayed errors...
