I want to know if it's possible and how, to send data with 1788-Ethernet Daughercard over a LAN and reveived it with a PC

RSLinx software is meant to interface between PC programs and A-B controllers. If your program can use DDE or OPC interfaces, it's easy to get polled or unsolicited data from a Logix controller like the FlexLogix. There are different RSLinx licenses; any license higher than RSLinx Lite is capable of OPC. You need to know how many controllers and what functions precisely you want to run. What sort of software do you need to link to the controller ?

In fact, i have a 'Send Data' button on my PLC screen and I want to send data when someone press it so i've tried to change my data to string and send msg type Block Tranfert Write by the ethernet card but doesn't work I really need help!!
